Our Mission
The Bedford Hills Elementary School Association (BHESA) is a 100% volunteer-based organization dedicated to enriching the educational experience of all Bedford Hills students.
Throughout the year, we organize a variety of events that bring enrichment, fun, and fundraising to our school community. Many of these activities happen beyond the school day and are made possible by the time, creativity, and commitment of our wonderful parent volunteers. Parent support and involvement are vital to our school’s success, and we encourage you to participate in any way you can.
Your involvement makes everything possible!
Together, we raise funds to support educational enrichment programs and extracurricular activities, including field trips, assemblies, music and art instruction, books, classroom supplies, school events, and so much more.
The mission of BHESA is simple: to enhance and enrich our children’s education.

After-School Enrichment
BHESA After-School
The Bedford Hills Elementary School Association (BHESA) is proud to offer a wide range of after-school programs throughout the school year, each designed to inspire creativity, encourage physical activity, and promote lifelong learning.
Some of our most popular programs include Craftivity, Garden Club, and The Greatest Sports Class Ever—just to name a few!
BHESA’s after-school classes are offered in three sessions:
- Fall: September–December
- Winter: January–February
- Spring: March–June
Classes meet immediately after school. Pickup is at 4:15 by the blacktop gate. Please bring your dismissal card.
How to Register
The After School Enrichment Program packet includes information on the classes offered as well as how to register and make payments.
The registration packets are sent home via backpack mail and email in the Fall, Winter, and Spring.
